Golf in the "Heart of the Peace" The town of Fairview is situated in the northern Alberta, "Peace Country", and is known as the "Heart of the Peace". Located between Grande Prairie and Peace River. The drive here is just as beautiful as the golf course. The drive is approximately 5 hours north of Edmonton. Play The Fairview Golf Club is located right in the north end of town. It is a very well maintained, 9 hole, multi-teed, par 36 front nine, par 35 back nine. There is water on every hole, and a few well placed sand traps. Fairways are lined with mature poplars and spruce. Most of the cart paths were paved in 2006. Relax and have fun! 2008 saw a major clubhouse renovation and expansion. The lounge and resturant area can seat up to 150, and the outside patio up to 75. The club is known for its great burgers and home made fries. The outside patio is a great place to have a snack and a cold one, as you watch the golfers coming down the 9th hole.
